It looks very cheap. No wonder you don't show the photo from the side - terrible fittings (bright yellow and there is a lot of it - the rings are huge)
It seems to smell like leather, but it looks cheap. The leather itself is not smooth, but has pimples, that's why it looks cheap.
The bag is good, but not "AWFUL", the leather is pleasant, medium softness.
