And in general regarding modems, both the keyboard and mouse work simultaneously, although I noticed that the keyboard often goes to sleep. Either it supplies power to different USB outputs intermittently or there is a problem with the keyboard. I was constantly working with the mouse, so there were no sleep issues or lags..
