The device has NO automatic shut-off, but will simply boil itself dry. It is not even approved in the EU. Standards!! Folding it down does not work particularly well. The power plug must always be pulled for pouring. All others only come with a hotplate that stays hot. These are killer arguments, even though I like the power of only 700W in the motorhome, and the size is pleasant for 2 cups and no open heating coil is installed. But that is the only thing that is correct from the description. Material and workmanship are poor. It's just cheap. Too cheap. Return
Takes very long until the water boils and for Germany it doesn't have any certification at all, but well for the money it's probably okay. It also doesn't switch off automatically. And regarding outdoor use, only if you have power
