By size, it's more of a children's scarf. It fits snugly around my neck, although my neck isn't thick. Maybe that's how it's supposed to be? Otherwise, it's quite nice, soft, and pleasant to the touch. The color is indeed dark gray, and the black plastic buttons look organic on it.
