I ordered a size 40, which is 25cm, and I received a size 38, barely 24cm. Very disapointed

The sandals are very light, cute, but for a very high instep and for a wide foot. I will try to tighten the elastic bands, but I don’t know how to fix them.. I might make darts on the sides.
