Defective product – Severe hardware interference (EMI) and application crashes ​​I have recently installed the multimedia head unit in my Kia Sorento. I put a lot of time and effort into a clean installation, but unfortunately, the device is defective and does not work as described. It has two major issues that make it completely unusable: ​Severe Electromagnetic Interference (GPS Jamming): The radio generates massive electromagnetic interference (EMI). Not only does the radio itself constantly lose the GPS signal, but it also completely jams the GPS signal on my mobile phone inside the car. As soon as the radio is powered on, no device in the cabin can catch a GPS signal. ​ ​System Instability and App Crashes (YouTube): Whenever I open the YouTube app (or other media applications), the app crashes automatically after a few dozen seconds and forces the system back to the home screen. The radio cannot handle basic multimedia tasks. It seems like a severe RAM/processor stability issue or severe overheating (thermal throttling). ​Due to these severe hardware defects, the product is useless and does not meet basic CE electromagnetic compatibility standards. Additionally, the dedicated plastic fascia frame included in the kit for the Kia Sorento does not fit properly.
