Racing Game: Namco
From
Namco has a long history of providing gamers with high-quality racing games, including their flagship title, the "Ridge Racer" series, and the stoic motorcycle racing game "MotoGP." This long-established racing game manufacturer is finally releasing "R: RACING EVOLUTION." Twenty years after the release of the arcade racing game "Pole Position" in 1982, this is the arrival of a new, evolved "Ridge Racer." This title successfully combines the "emotion" of "Ridge Racer," featuring stylish visuals and music, with the "realism" of "MotoGP," a stoic pursuit of pure racing. Enjoy over 200 race variations across 14 well-balanced courses, both real and fictional, and over 30 iconic and real-life vehicles. Aiming to recreate a "racing world with humans," the game is impressively equipped with ambitious new systems, such as a "radio communication system" that lets you actually hear communications from the pit and the voices of other drivers during the game, and a "pressure meter system" that lets you put pressure on rival cars from behind to fill up the meter and induce mistakes.
The series has also come to feature CG of female models, the quality of which improves with each installment, and in addition to "arcade mode" and "time attack mode," this title also includes a "racing life mode," a story mode-like mode in which the main character, Hayami Rena, travels around the world to take on races.
