KENKO Duto 72mm Lens Filter for Soft Rendering (372319)

Among the many soft filters available, DUTO has a particularly weak softening effect. It beautifully expresses the blurring of highlights while keeping the center of focus clear. Unlike a normal soft filter that applies to the entire image, this filter creates a very slight blur mainly in the highlight area. This changes the texture of skin and hair where light hits them, creating the effect of a soft glow from within, as if wearing a thin veil. Due to its effectiveness, we recommend using it with a medium telephoto lens with a focal length (full-frame equivalent) of approximately 85 to 135 mm, and at maximum to medium aperture. Please note that if used with a wide-angle lens or stopped down too much, the softening effect may become uneven or directional. Filter diameter: 72mm
