The seal kit is used to rebuilt for Speeco design or compatible other brand cylinders such as for Husky, for Split Master, for Oregon, for Dirty Hands tool and after marker cylinders made with same for Speeco design (but might be not suitable for your 20 years or older design). Size: To know whether it fits your cylinder, one way is to disassemble and measure your cylinder to compare with each item information. 1. Cylinder tube bore (I.D.) 4.0in x rod (O.D) 1.75in. 4.0in bore size is not Cylinder tube O.D. Cylinder rod size is inside tube part size. Some factory makes rod having different O.D between inside tube part and outside tube part. 2.Piston wear ring (drawing item 16): 101.6 mm (OD 4.0in) x 95.25mm (3.8in) x 9.5mm (0.375in wide) Rod wear ring (drawing item 15): 44.5mm (ID 1.752in) x 50.8mm (OD 2in) x 9.53mm (0.375in wide) 3. Piston seals (drawing item 14) 1 square ring and 1 O ring. Piston Square ring: 101.6 mm x91.6mm x 3.28mm 4 x 3.6 x 0.1in, O ring (installed under the square ring): 103mm x 2.65mm 4.1 x 0.1in. CPU + NBR 4. Rod O ring (item 13): 44.5mm x 54mm x 5mm 1.8 x 2.1 x 0.2in, CPU. There is O ring inside. It is a compound seal ring to ensure better seal and longer life. We add one common size 25mm X 3.55mm 1 x 0.1in as extra. It is standard O ring. If our 2 O rings are not the size with your cylinder, you can easily find it at any local store, such as Home Depot. 7. The backup ring is support O ring to against pressure, so it will be installed at outside of O ring. See drawing for position. It is one of most important seals to prevent oil leakage. 8. Steel wire spring (item 8): it is option item for your cylinder rebuild. You might not need it to replace your old one if it is not damaged during disassembly. Please be sure if our wire ring OD is not same with your old one, please don t use it.
