This composite dial features Roman numerals for the 10, 11, 1, and 2 indices, Arabic numerals for the 4, 5, 7, and 8, bar indexes for the 3, 6, and 9, and a triangular hour marker at 12 o'clock. Commonly known as the "California dial," this dial design is not only unique but highly practical and was adopted by the military (navy).
