PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Product introduction TAMA sticks are MADE IN JAPAN models that are particular about quality and manufacturing methods under a strong cooperative system that has continued for 30 years with a stick specialty factory based in Japan. To prevent warping and other deformations, the raw materials for the sticks are naturally dried for a full year at a factory in Japan. After stabilizing the material, various processing and painting are performed under quality control in the same factory. Furthermore, the processed sticks are sorted into 12 levels within a weight range of plus/minus 1 gram and shipped in matched pairings. Yukihiro Takahashi's signature stick has gained overwhelming support as the drummer for Y.M.O. and as a support musician for many artists. By setting the grip to a slightly thicker 15mm and the tip to be narrower, we have achieved a balance that allows the stick to return quickly and is easy to control. In addition, the tip has a narrower shape, allowing for beautiful cymbal legato sound.
