It offers an excellent balance of durability and sound response, and the precision-drilled dry vents allow for advanced harmonic control. It's made with a 5mil film coated outer ply and a 7.5mil film inner ply, plus it has a 2mil control ring on the underside of the head and dry vents around the perimeter to eliminate excess harmonics. Compared to standard HD heads, it has a less defined attack, shorter sustain, and is slightly less bright.
