Brand Introduction
Fjällräven was founded in the small Swedish village of Övik by a 14-year-old skier Åke Nordin, who felt the need for a comfortable backpack to replace the uncomfortable ones available at the time. He decided to create his own backpack and completed it by crafting a wooden frame and attaching leather straps.
After his military service, he realized the necessity for backpacks that could hold more gear, and established Fjällräven at the age of 24 in 1960, starting to produce outdoor equipment and clothing in earnest. The Arctic Fox logo of Fjällräven is now easily seen in various places, including urban streets and nature, and has established itself as a leading outdoor brand in Northern Europe.
Fjällräven has been loved for over 60 years, offering functional products suitable for Scandinavian outdoor lifestyles in over 20 countries worldwide, including the USA and Europe.
