Story The first manned Mars probe, "Zero-X," incorporating the latest scientific and technological advances, crashes and is destroyed after takeoff due to interference from the villain Hood, who infiltrates the vehicle. Two years later, the second takeoff, guarded by an international rescue team, is a near-success. After arriving on Mars, the Zero-X somehow manages to evade an attack by mysterious lifeforms and set off on its journey back to Earth...
