Product Introduction
Wolfpack Design "1/350 South Korean Navy Son Won-il-class submarine Westland with Super Lynx Mk.99" plastic model kit.
This was a German Type 214 export submarine purchased by South Korea and built by Hyundai Heavy Industries.
It boasts high seaworthiness thanks to its air-independent propulsion system, allowing it to operate submerged for up to two weeks without surfacing.
Its name comes from Son Won-il, the first Chief of the Naval Staff of the Republic of Korea.
The first submarine was laid down in October 2002, and nine have been commissioned.
The Son Won-il-class submarine itself is made using a new mold.
Includes two Super Lynx Mk.99 submarines (resin and color-etched) and decals.
This is a plastic model kit that requires assembly and painting.
Assembly and painting require additional adhesives, tools, paint, etc.
