The Kobe Electric Railway 1000 series 1500 and 1600 series trains were introduced in 1991. Based on the De1150 and Sa1250 series, they were designed for one-man operation from the outset.
They are currently in service on all Kobe Electric Railway lines.
This model features the original livery of the 1503 series.
By using a separately sold power unit and N-gauge running parts, it can be operated as an N-gauge model train.
The recommended power unit is TM-06R (18m class A), the running parts set is TT-04R, and the recommended pantographs are PG16 [0238] for the 1000 series and PT4811N [0258] for the 2000 series.
