Product Introduction

Robin Hood: Sheriff of Nottingham is a remake of the board game Sheriff of Nottingham, set in the world and characters of the classic Disney animated film, Robin Hood. Suitable for players ages 10 and up, this game can be enjoyed by families and friends of all ages. (This game is not an expansion set for Sheriff of Nottingham and can be played on its own.)

Use lies and negotiation to smuggle goods into the village. One player takes turns playing the role of sheriff. The other players play Robin Hood and his merry band of friends. They place several item cards into a bag. Next, they declare the bag's contents to the sheriff, and feel free to lie!

The sheriff then chooses which bag to open and inspect. He can choose multiple bags to inspect. If the contents of a player's bag do not match their declaration or if they are found to be lying, that player can be fined. However, if a player opens the bag of a player who is telling the truth, the Sheriff will have to pay an apology.

Players who don't want their bag inspected can negotiate with the Sheriff. They can negotiate freely, such as paying a bribe or promising to behave in the game (whether or not they keep their promises is up to them). Of course, the Sheriff can also threaten a player by threatening to inspect their bag and demand a bribe.

Help Villagers in Need This is a new rule added in "Robin Hood: Sheriff of Nottingham." If you manage to smuggle goods into the village without the Sheriff's knowledge, you can earn "Villager Tokens" as a token of the villagers' gratitude by handing over three needed items to each villager. At the end of the game, the player with the most Villager Tokens will receive bonus points.
