Product Introduction

■EMAD Clear

EMAD is EVANS' proprietary sound control system. It includes two interchangeable urethane mute rings (damping rings) of different widths, easily interchangeable without removing the bass drum head. This allows for easy installation and removal to achieve the desired level of mute.

The 10-mil, single-ply film allows for a wide range of tones, from open to tight attack and a fat sound with enhanced low end. The two removable damping rings allow for a wide range of tones, all with a single bass drum head.

The coated head enhances tone with warmth and depth.

GMAD, a 12-mil, single-ply film, adds punch and low end to the original EMAD for a more powerful sound.

Durability is also 20% improved. EMAD2 features a 7-mil outer film and a 10-mil inner film, two-ply, for even greater attack and durability.
