Polarizing filters filter this directionally polarized light by aligning it perpendicular to the reflected light, allowing more of this light to be absorbed. This significantly reduces glare and reflections from non-metallic surfaces and improves the color saturation of skies and foliage. Ultra Slim: The frame is just 5.2mm deep. The glass has 10 layers of anti-reflective coating to prevent internal ghosting and reflections. These coatings also provide greater protection for the filter substrate, helping it stay cleaner for longer than uncoated filters. Circular Polarizer: Circular polarizers are ideal for use with digital cameras and autofocus lenses. Linear polarizers often interfere with auto exposure and focus functions. A 2.5x filter factor reduces exposure by 1.3 stops. OPTICAL GLASS: This polarizing filter is constructed with optical glass for clarity and color fidelity and features an aluminum alloy filter ring that can be rotated to adjust the strength of the polarizing effect. Easy Installation: Rotate the filter ring to adjust the strength of the polarizing effect. Use it at a 90-degree angle from the sun for the strongest effect. The 52mm front filter thread allows for compatibility with other filters. The knurled top provides a textured grip when attaching and removing from your lens.
