[Nambu Iron] Iron Kettle Yachigusa 1.2L 787-619 [Seieido] [Oigen Casting] [OIGEN]

This is a cast iron kettle from Nanbu, Iwate Prefecture, in the Oshu region of Japan. Water boiled in this kettle releases iron, resulting in a mellow flavor.

Nanbu cast iron kettles boast excellent heat conductivity and heat retention due to their uniform thickness. Their beautiful appearance makes them not only functional as cooking utensils but also as decorative pieces.
