Analog VU Meters and High-Precision Control Functions: The independent left and right analog VU meters have needles that move in real time according to the strength of the music signal. More than just a display, you can finely adjust the gain (pointer swing amplitude) and delay (needle response speed). Furthermore, you can switch between ACG mode (auditory compensation type where the needle swing increases as the input volume decreases) and DB mode (accurate display that is perfectly proportional to the input signal).
4-Input/4-Output Bidirectional Switcher Function: This unit features two operating modes: 1-IN-4-OUT (distribution) and 4-IN-1-OUT (switching). In 4-IN-1-OUT mode, you can connect up to four audio sources (CD players, DACs, smartphones, etc.) and switch between them instantly using the buttons on the front panel or the included remote control. This eliminates the hassle of plugging and unplugging cables. In 1-IN-4-OUT mode, you can simultaneously output from one audio source to four amplifiers, speakers, or recording devices. This is ideal for comparative listening tests of equipment or streaming to multiple environments.
Wireless microphone input and studio-ready functionality: In addition to stereo RCA inputs, the rear panel features a wireless microphone input (3.5mm jack for wired connection). You can monitor the microphone signal with a VU meter and mix it to the line output. This allows for versatile use in various scenarios, such as simple monitoring in a PA environment, talkback systems in recording studios, and podcast recording. The gain adjustment function allows for optimal settings tailored to the microphone input level.
Independent power supply design and gold-plated terminals for superior sound quality: The power supply for the VU meter (USB 5V) is completely isolated from the audio signal path. The VU meter only "reads" the signal from the signal circuit, with no direct interference. In addition, all input and output terminals use pure copper terminals with gold plating to reduce contact resistance. The large-area contact design minimizes signal transmission loss and maintains a clean audio signal. Even audiophiles sensitive to sound quality can use it with confidence.
Comprehensive features and operating environment: The included infrared remote control allows you to perform basic operations such as volume adjustment, input switching, mute, and power on/off from a distance. Settings are remembered even after power off and restored the next time you start the unit. In addition, the four channel buttons can be pressed simultaneously to output multiple channels at once (※front panel operation only). The backlight brightness can be selected from two levels, dimmer and brighter, allowing you to adjust visibility according to the installation environment.
