It employs a shaft-drive 4WD system that provides excellent driving stability even at high speeds off-road and during cornering. The suspension is a double wishbone independent system on all four wheels. A stabilizer is fitted to the front to suppress body roll. The supple suspension effectively utilizes the power of the 4WD system. The sealed front and rear gear cases, which prevent the intrusion of sand and pebbles, house differential gears. Smooth operation results in predictable handling. The vehicle utilizes reinforced resin extensively throughout, including an ABS resin bathtub frame. It can withstand rough driving and is easy to maintain. The body, inspired by a saber (sword), is made of lightweight and shock-resistant polycarbonate.
