Introduction to Kutani ware styles: Yoshidaya (Yoshidaya) Toyoda Den'emon (approximately 180 years ago) The Yoshidaya kiln, which aimed to revive Old Kutani ware, adopted the inlaid style of Aote Old Kutani ware, and without using red, used four colors: blue (green), yellow, purple, and navy blue. In addition to the patterns, small patterns were used as background patterns, and the entire surface of the vessel was painted with paint to create a heavy style that gives off a unique atmosphere.
Kutani ware is highly regarded worldwide as one of Japan's three major types of overglaze enamel porcelain, and as a representative traditional craft of Japan, known as "Japan Kutani."
