Brewing recipe – rooibos with apple and flowers
Quantity of dried material: 1.5–2 teaspoons per cup (Approx. 250 ml)
Water temperature: 95–100°C
Brewing time: 6–8 minutes
Brewing method: Pour boiling water over the mixture and steep covered. Longer brewing more strongly emphasizes the apple and the aroma of rose.

Creative culinary recipe – Braised apples with rooibos and a hint of rose (topping for oatmeal and desserts)
Ingredients:
250 ml strong infusion of Rooibos tea African Flower
2 apples cut into cubes
1–2 tablespoons of honey or cane sugar
1 teaspoon of lemon juice
pinch of cinnamon (optional)
a few rose petals for serving (from the mixture)
Preparation: Brew a strong infusion (Approx. 10 minutes) and strain. In a saucepan, heat the infusion, add the apples, honey/sugar, and lemon juice. Simmer for 10–12 minutes over low heat until the apples soften and a light syrup forms. Serve on oatmeal, pancakes, ice cream, or with yogurt. On top, add a few rose petals and a little bit of sunflower petals for color.
