Known for its high precision and durability, the Technic Craft Series gearboxes are widely used in robot contest machines. The 5-Speed Twin Gearbox HE connects two independent gearboxes for use. By rearranging gears and changing the drive shaft position, five gear ratios are selectable: 6.1:1, 15.6:1, 40.2:1, 103.3:1, and 265.6:1. Connecting and disconnecting the left and right gearboxes is easy with snap-fit design. Additionally, mounting parts can be attached at 10 points, increasing the flexibility of gearbox positioning. Furthermore, the 103.3:1 and 265.6:1 ratios include clutch gears to protect against overload. The set includes a cross-shaped crank arm and a hex hub compatible with RC car wheels. Standard kit includes a 260 motor, and it is also compatible with commercially available 140 and 130 motors.
