General remarks regarding distances: Eibach spacers are made based on the original wheels. In the case of using replacement or limited wheels, particularly in the case of versions with studs permanently attached to the hub (wheel mounting with nuts), it is necessary to check whether the rims meet the required technical conditions. In case of modifications made to the car or additional equipment (This also applies to original products, offered optionally by the car manufacturer!) such as an reinforced braking system, single central hole wheel mounting, sports suspension, LPG installation etc.. - it is possible that the installation of our products will not be possible. We would like to inform you that the larger the wheel size, the more sensitively the steering system will react after installing wheel spacers. (e.g.. through vibrations) in case of wheel imbalance.
The spacers should be installed by hand - avoid using electric or pneumatic tools as in some cases this may result in suboptimal seating of the spacers, which can be the cause of unpleasant vibrations during driving.
From March 2011, the use of Pro-Spacer widening spacers in combination with steel wheels is prohibited unless otherwise stated in the homologation.
Remove all centering and mounting elements from the hub surface (mounting screws, clamps or rings from the brake disc or drum).
To install wheel spacers, the wheels must have the appropriate cutouts to accommodate the "heads" of the bolts. (e.g.. pin length - 25mm, spacer thickness - 10mm, remaining - 15mm, which must fit into the recess in the rim (min. 16mm). Additionally, such a cutout must have a minimum dimension. 22x22mm, to hide the nut. ATTENTION: When installing 15mm spacers, a minimum of 5mm recess must be maintained because the nuts will protrude beyond the surface!
