When Dinosaurs Lived On Earth

When dinosaurs roamed Earth, the world looked completely different than it does today. Not only were there no humans yet, but there were no grasses, and strange animals thrived. The north and south poles of our globe were not covered by glaciers, because temperatures never dropped below freezing. What did this ancient world look like? We can learn this from excavations, including those discovered in present-day Poland. Did you know that hundreds of millions of years ago, phytosaurs, animals similar to modern-day crocodiles, lived here? The Lisowicia, the largest dicynodont living on Earth, resembling today's hippos, made its home in our lands? The flying ozimek glided between enormous Triassic trees? A relative of the ancestor of mammals, the tiny Polonodon, roamed the lands of present-day Silesia? The predatory Wawel Dragon also hunted its prey here?
