Press with some force for 20-30 seconds, then let it cool. If you're worried about it falling off, you can sew a few stitches around the edge after ironing. This ironing method is suggested for cotton and linen fabrics. For sweaters, leather, mesh, or smooth/rough fabrics, it's better to sew it on.
