Description
Originating from the Seiko Sportsmatic 5 (commonly known as Seiko Five) released by Seiko in 1963, the Seiko Five Sports was introduced in 1968 as a derivative series with a focus on sports-oriented functions and design. This New Seiko Five Sports features updated functions and logo design. Equipped with the 4R series movement, it includes a hand-winding function and hacking seconds, which were not available in the 7S movement. The sporty design is styled to match various scenes, offering a new development in style concept.
The SRPD71K1 is a North American model that appears similar to the SRPD71K1, but it has the print "MOV'T JAPAN" at the edge of the dial at the 6 o'clock position. (As of May 2020)
