Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the Colour Box features a special limited edition color.

The Colour Box V2 inherits all the functions of V1 and adds new features including expanded EQ controls, a large and clean headroom Hi/Lo switch, and a circuit that allows phantom power supplied from a console to pass through to the XLR input.

■ Headroom Switch for HI/LO The Colour Box V2 is equipped with a new HI/LO switch that allows you to toggle the clean headroom level. In LO mode, you can easily achieve a pure clean sound without breakup, making it ideal for tone shaping that does not require distortion. In HI mode, the unit easily distorts, allowing for a wide range of sounds such as overdrive, distortion, and fuzz.

■ EQ Frequency Adjustment with SHIFT Knob The blue EQ section features standard Treble, Middle, and Bass controls, along with three new Shift controls that interact with them. These knobs adjust the frequency ranges of Treble, Middle, and Bass. The center frequencies are 10kHz for Treble, 1kHz for Middle, and 120Hz for Bass. The Treble, Middle, and Bass knobs provide boost/cut control within a +/-17dB range.

■ Safety Through Phantom Power Circuit When connected to a console capable of supplying phantom power, the Colour Box V2 includes a pass-through circuit to safely send power to the XLR input. Suitable for condenser microphones and other devices requiring power. * Devices not compatible with phantom power should not be connected, as power supply-dependent devices such as condenser microphones cannot be used.

■ Compatible with DC 9V Power Supply Compared to the V1, which operated at 18V DC, the V2 now uses a standard 9V DC power supply, making it easier to power without special adapters.
