It particularly inherits the tonal character of the famous American high-gain amplifier, making it very appealing for guitarists seeking a modern and heavy sound. The pedal's greatest feature is its overwhelming high-gain sound. It distorts deeply while maintaining clear contours of the sound and separation of each string, making it stand out in riffs and chord work. It also contains rich overtones and offers excellent sustain. Furthermore, the AT-DS allows for a wide range of sound shaping. It features gain control, as well as three-band EQ (treble, middle, bass) for detailed tone adjustments.
