Product Description: Ellisse (ELLISSE) means "oval" in Italian. This forged peg is made by heating round steel material to about 1100°C until it glows red, then applying a powerful force of about one ton to crush the cross-section into an oval shape. By applying strong pressure to the heated steel, a peg with excellent strength is created. Forging is a type of plastic processing method in metalworking. It involves striking metal with a hammer or similar tool to apply pressure, which crushes internal voids, refines crystals, aligns crystal directions, increases strength, and shapes the metal into the desired form. This technique has been used for manufacturing knives, weapons, and hardware for a long time. The metal material is shaped by applying pressure using molds, resulting in a denser structure due to continuous fiber flow, making it less likely to develop voids compared to casting, thus producing a strong raw material. Standard round pegs tend to rotate underground, making them difficult to use, but oval pegs penetrate well even in hard ground mixed with gravel or stones, securing firmly without rotating underground. The direction of rope pull is designed with thicker material for enhanced durability. The areas where the rope contacts are trimmed to prevent cutting from burrs, ensuring meticulous attention to detail. The coating has excellent rust resistance and withstands over 1000 hours of salt spray testing, featuring a cationic electrodeposition coating.
