He begins official hero activities at the Hero Association along with Genos, who became his disciple by chance. Amidst an abnormally high rate of monster appearances, the Hero Association responds to the prophecy of "Earth is in danger" left by the great prophet Shibabawa. Garo, a hero hunter, appears. ■#15 "The Beginning of the Hunt" Garo, continuing his hero hunt, is wanted as a dangerous criminal. His former master, Silver Fang, an S-class 3rd rank hero who once expelled Garo, has closed his dojo and, along with his brother Bomb, searches for Garo.
