History

The Swiss Railway Station Clock is installed on 3,000 station platforms throughout Switzerland. The station clock, designed in 1944 by engineer and Swiss Railways employee Hans Hilfiker, will celebrate its 80th anniversary in 2024. Mondaine inherited the design in 1986 and transformed it into a wristwatch, which is still loved all over the world.

This MONDAINE/CLASSIC metal case on sale is 100% post-consumer recycled, made from recycled scrap metal, and is a limited edition model that gives you a sense of Mondaine's ecological concept. There is a recycling mark on the case back and crown.
