Ohtani Whetstone Kitayama 8000 (Stone Only) #8000 Knife Sharpening

The highly acclaimed finishing whetstone “Kitayama 8000”

・Ohtani Whetstone Kitayama 8000 – Stone Only (No Stand, No Nakura) ・Kitayama 8000 has reigned as the leading #8000 whetstone, consistently chosen by professional sharpeners for a long time. ・This whetstone is beloved by connoisseurs for its ability to create a subtly hazy finish on the blade of a Japanese knife. It offers the gentle sharpening feel characteristic of resinoid stones. ・Made using a resinoid process. We recommend applying a slurry before using the stone. ・Although fundamentally a resinoid whetstone with no pores, we recommend soaking it in water for about one minute before use. ・This is a product of Ohtani Whetstone.
