Phil Deutschle adventurer, itinerant teacher has climbed in the Himalayas and the Andes, crossed Africa and the US on a bicycle, and paddled a dugout canoe down the Congo River.

And after having worked in countries as diverse as Nepal, Denmark, Botswana, the US and Bolivia, he now teaches highschool science in central California.
