A unique combination of octave-up and fuzz: The GK-31 raises your guitar tone by one octave while adding a rich, fuzzy texture. This combination produces a distinctive, otherworldly sound, perfect for adding a unique flavor to solos, riffs, and experimental music. It's ideal for any pedalboard or for taking to live rehearsals. It also draws 80mA of current, which is standard for this type of pedal. The VOLUME knob adjusts the output volume of the signal, ensuring the appropriate volume level for any playing situation. The TONE knob adjusts the overall EQ of the main fuzz, allowing for fine-tuning of the frequency response. From warm, bass-heavy fuzz to bright tones with emphasized treble, the TONE knob provides complete control. The FUZZ knob controls the intensity of the main fuzz effect. Convenient Switches: The NORMAL switch controls the fuzz volume, allowing for finer adjustment of the fuzz effect's intensity. The MID CUT SWITCH is a unique feature that allows for complete tone control. The ON switch activates the main fuzz, and the OCTAVE ON footswitch activates the octave-up fuzz. These effects can be easily switched on/off during performance. True Bypass Design: The GK-31's true bypass design minimizes tone loss when the pedal is not in use. This ensures that the guitar's original tone remains pure and uncolored, maintaining sonic integrity even when the octave fuzz effect is not being used. Durable construction and compact design: With its oven-dried paint finish on an aluminum alloy casing, the GK-31 is built to withstand long-term use. It can withstand the rigors of everyday use, whether on stage or in the studio. Dimensions converted to US units (11.2 x 6.4 x 3.4 cm ≈ 4.41 x 2.52 x 1.34 inches), and a weight of approximately 0.51 pounds (0.23 kg), it is compact and lightweight.
