AC-3 is an acoustic simulator that transforms the sound of a connected electric guitar into the beautiful sound of an acoustic guitar through modeling.
This allows you to switch between electric and acoustic guitar sounds without having to change guitars, making it incredibly powerful on live stages and other similar situations.
It also features a high-quality reverb optimized for acoustic guitar sounds, allowing you to express rich sonic breadth and depth.

The AC-3 allows you to select from four different acoustic guitar sounds using a mode switch.
With the classic dreadnought-type STANDARD, the JUMBO with its large body and rich bass and beautiful treble, the ENHANCE which emphasizes attack to ensure it stands out in a band ensemble, and the PIEZO with its round back structure and distinctive piezo pickup sound, you can find the acoustic guitar sound you like.
Furthermore, the BODY knob controls the resonance of the body, and the TOP knob controls the attack and harmonic content, allowing you to adjust the sound character to your liking.

The AC-3 features two types of output terminals: a guitar amp out terminal intended for connection to a guitar amplifier, and a line out terminal that can be connected to PA systems, recorders, and other devices.
When connecting the line out terminal to the PA system and the guitar amp out to the guitar amp simultaneously during live performances, the AC-3 switches between outputting a bypassed sound from the guitar amp out terminal when it's off and an effected sound from the line out when it's on. This allows you to individually adjust volume, equalization, and effects.
Additionally, both the guitar amp output and line output terminals, when used individually, function as on/off switches for the effects.
