Ports 1–4 support IEEE 802.3af/at PoE standards and can deliver up to 30 W per PoE port. The automatic detection function identifies compatible powered devices, helping to provide a practical connection for IP cameras and other PoE-enabled equipment.

The two ports marked UP LINK operate at 10/100/1000 Mb/s and are intended for connection to another network device. The switch supports a MAC address table of 1K entries, a switching capacity of 8.8 Gbps, and the Store-and-Forward transmission method.
The SG64 is suitable for installations using IP cameras, as well as other PoE-compatible devices such as IP phones, access points and routers. PoE technology combines network communication and power delivery through the network connection, helping to simplify installation without a separate power cable for every connected device.
