■Behind the Scenes of Development■ The development was initiated by the shipping inspection of products equipped with PHONO inputs, including the FX-AUDIO- "TUBE-P01J". Previously, inspections were performed using actual record players, but this required installation space and was cumbersome to manage as inspection equipment, requiring the management and replacement of cartridges and styluses.

Therefore, development began on an in-house inspection jig that could verify PHONO inputs using only line output devices. Through repeated prototyping and measurements, we thoroughly pursued accuracy in inverse RIAA characteristics and flat frequency response. After achieving sufficient performance as an in-house inspection jig, we also noticed that there are many users who, even with amplifiers equipped with PHONO inputs, do not own record players or LP records and are therefore unable to utilize the PHONO input.

We refined the product so that it could be used not only for evaluation and measurement purposes, but also as a conversion adapter to connect general line output audio equipment such as CD players, DACs, and audio interfaces to PHONO (MM) inputs, and commercialized it as "RE:EQ-00J".
