IsolBau Window Tape PRO-SKS is a flexible, fully self-adhesive tape for the vapor-permeable, airtight, and rainproof sealing of joints on windows, doors, and panels. Due to the variable Sd value, this window sealing tape can be used indoors and outdoors.
One side is provided with a highly adhesive layer over the entire width, which facilitates application to the window frame or wall.. Additionally, the tape has an integrated 18 mm wide adhesive strip on the other side, which simplifies attachment to the window frame.
With its special properties, the Sd value adapts to the seasonal differences in temperature and humidity to which the connection joints are exposed.. This ensures the exchange of moisture from the inside to the outside and vice versa in all weather conditions.
The connection joint remains dry year-round and damage due to condensation can be prevented. With our products, an airtight window installation is achieved, which has a significant impact on the operating costs of the building, especially the heating costs.
The dense installation minimizes the formation of thermal bridges and protects the connection between the window and the wall from uncontrolled airflow and simultaneously from moisture.

IsolBau Window Tape PRO-SKS can be used on both the inside and the outside before or after the installation of the facade element (z. B.. Window frame) to be attached. The window tape can be applied either in a single strip or in 4 separate strips.
In both cases, additional material must be planned for the corners (approx. 5-10 cm per corner).
First peel off and remove the protective film. Then attach the film with the self-adhesive tape to the side of the facade element or remove the split liner from the small adhesive tape and attach the tape to the front of the facade element.
Remove the remaining protective film evenly. Do not adhere the window tape too tightly to the shell to accommodate movements between the individual building components.. Avoid creasing. The adhesive layer of the tape is pressure-sensitive: The harder it is pressed, the stronger the adhesion.
The use of the pressure roller is recommended.
