In 2006, a twisted castle suddenly appeared over Tokyo. This massive castle houses the divine hunting weapons, around which various stories unfold. The second installment of the popular dramatic shooting game that gained popularity in arcades has been fully ported to PlayStation 2, incorporating additional elements.

Players choose one of seven characters, each with unique traits, and use three different attack methods to defeat enemies. The characters' backgrounds are intricately intertwined, creating an engaging story despite the shooting game format. The PS2 version features the hidden character "Chibi Fumiko" from the arcade version available from the start, which enthusiasts will not want to miss.

There are five stages in total. Each stage features different demo sequences for each character. Additionally, in two-player mode, the story varies depending on the character combination used, and all of these are fully voiced.

Furthermore, by meeting certain conditions, players can unlock "Extra Options" that allow them to freely modify the game content, enabling the creation of a personalized version. The game also supports online rankings, allowing players to compete for high scores nationwide. Confident players should aim for the top spot in the country. (Hideyuki Matsumoto)
