Ornamental Garlic Gladiator 1 pc. bulb
• Ornamental garlic Gladiator (Allium) is a wonderful combination of the abundant flowering typical of garlics with spherical inflorescences with moderate growth, making it perfect for smaller flower beds and perennial groups in small gardens.
• This charming variety grows up to 90-110 cm, producing straight, thick, strong shoots decorated at the bottom with rosettes of narrow, grayish-green leaves, and topped with dense, purple balls of tiny flowers at the top.
• Gladiator ornamental garlic can produce long-lasting flowers for fresh and dry bouquets. In flowerbeds, plant it in small groups, against even taller varieties (e.g., Mount Everest, Giganteum), if space allows, or surrounded by miniature hostas and small garlics with openwork inflorescences (including pink, Karatavian, and Kazakhstan garlic).
• Plant the large bulbs in autumn in loosened soil enriched with compost or other organic fertilizer. Garlics prefer sunny locations, although they also tolerate light shade, and grow and overwinter best in well-drained soil that is sufficiently moist in spring and dry in summer.
They bloom profusely in June.
• Ornamental garlic bulbs are actually cloves, it's normal for them to look as if they've been divided into halves or smaller pieces; each flat bulb will grow into a beautiful plant.
• The package contains 1 Gladiator ornamental garlic bulb, size 20/+, from a Dutch producer. The package contains the most important information about growing the plants.
• Location:Garlics require full sun or partial sun.
• Soil:They grow best in permeable and humus-rich soil, deeply tilled, and sufficiently moist.
• Planting:Autumn garlic cultivation begins from September to November. The plant is frost-resistant. Before winter, the plants will develop a strong root system, and when warm spring days arrive, they grow very quickly.
• Care:The plants require watering during periods of spring drought and systematic weeding. During intensive growth, feed them 2-3 times with multi-component fertilizers. Garlic should be grown in the same location for 2-3 years.
• Storage:The bulbs are dug out after the leaves have dried, dried at 20°C and stored in a well-ventilated room until replanting.
