Converse Womens All Star Hi 'White Cherry Blossom' (women's Sizes) White / Cherry Blossom Canvas Shoes 560645C

The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star is the original basketball shoe and was once the official NBA game shoe. Composed of a rubber sole and canvas upper, it was launched in 1949 and quickly became a popular basketball shoe within the industry—a design that remains unchanged to this day. At the time, basketball player Chuck Taylor joined a basketball team sponsored by Converse and helped market and sell the All Star, while also contributing improvements to the shoe; in 1930, Converse decided to add Chuck Taylor’s name to the shoe. With nearly a century of rich and storied history, the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star has become an iconic symbol of American culture and, today, stands as the quintessential canvas sneaker—still widely coveted and beloved by many.
