1. To keep the heat in the mug for as long as possible, heat the inside of the mug by filling it with hot water for approximately 3 minutes and pour the water out. Then immediately fill the thermos with your chosen hot drink.
The same procedure should be used for cold drinks. Use cold water instead of hot water to cool the inside of the mug before filling.
