JHS Pedals Fumble Clean Booster Effector

Fumble was born from the biggest mistake JHS Pedals has ever made in its more than 15-year history. It was discovered after the release of the NOTADÜMBLË in May 2025 that it had been equipped with a Dumble preamplifier that was not the intended circuit. JHS Pedals discontinued production of the NOTADÜMBLË V1 after selling off its remaining stock. However, many users requested that the clean circuit be sold separately. That's how "Fumble" was born. Fumble is a faithful production model of the "Dumble BBC-1," another circuit that was replicated for a famous guitarist. It is a finished product housed in a small enclosure, rather than a DIY kit, and was given the self-deprecating name "Fumble" as a result of its failure. Further investigation revealed that the BBC-1 circuit is not the original Dumble design, but rather a JFET preamp almost directly borrowed from a 1970s Barcus Berry acoustic preamp. The Fumble is a clone of that clone, a rare three-generation-later replica in pedal history.
