The SUPER BLACK MINI is a pedal that condenses the classic 1960s "Black Panel" sound into a compact enclosure. It is the successor to the much-loved SUPER BLACK, which has been discontinued. Featuring a fully analog circuit, it faithfully reproduces the signal path of the golden age of Black Panel amplifiers. Furthermore, by improving headroom, it achieves sparkling highs and punchy clean tones. One of its appealing features is that you can get the breakup sound of a tube amp without turning up the volume too high. It also reproduces the rich dynamics and response that are unique to full volume. When combined with an effects loop return or cabinet IR, it can be as a preamp. When connected to the front input of an amplifier, it functions as a tone shaper/booster. The response when other pedals such as boosters and compressors are connected before it is just like a real Black Panel amplifier. This compact unit condenses the charm of the classic Black Panel amplifier into one piece.
