COTTON mask - has 3 layers. The filter has 5 layers. After installing the filter, the mask is 8-layered. The mask has a PM 2.5 smog protection class (meaning filtration of particles 2.5 microns and larger up to 99% efficiency) - FFP2, N95 classes ARE SIMILAR CLASSES (respectively - European marking, Chinese marking), but not identical, they have a higher degree of filtration against smaller particles.
