Due to its narrow-wide tooth design, this is a 1x speed only setup. It cannot be as a 2x speed setup. It is also not compatible with front derailleurs. The flywheel cassette is compatible with 7-12 speeds.

Chain speed compatibility: 8-12 speed (MTB chain), 8-11 speed (road bike chain). If you are using a genuine Shimano 12-speed road bike chain, the genuine quick link is too narrow and will need to be replaced with a quick link from another manufacturer. Not compatible with AXS 12-speed flat-top chains.
