This sponge scrubs well a pan heavily clogged with grease and rust. The only problem is that afterwards it is covered in this not at all appetizing residue and you have to throw it away. If anyone knows how to clean it (in the dishwasher, ideally?) I would be interested.. In the meantime I'm going to order two so I always have one on hand if needed - it's still quite rare to have a pot or pan that's so dirty, fortunately!
